Description of material
The polymer-bitumen sealant is a hot-applied material consisting of oil bitumen, modified by synthetic rubber and technological additives. The material has a wide range of operating temperatures, high elasticity and dimensional stability. It is manufactured in three grades for use in various climatic zones: BP-G25, BP-G35, BP-G50.
Properties of Polymer Bitumen Sealant
- Flexible: Can withstand expansion and contraction due to temperature changes.
- Waterproof: Prevents water infiltration in joints and cracks.
- Adhesive: Bonds strongly to concrete, metal, asphalt, and other surfaces.
- Weather-resistant: Resists UV radiation, heat, cold, and rain.
Common Uses of Polymer Bitumen Sealant
- Sealing expansion joints in roads, bridges, and airport runways
- Waterproofing and sealing in roofing systems
- Joint sealing in prefabricated concrete structures
- Crack filling in asphalt pavements
- Flashing and sealing details around windows, chimneys, and vents
Method of application polymer bitumen sealant
1-Clean the joint or crack area thoroughly.
- Remove all dust, oil, grease, loose particles, and moisture.
- Use a wire brush, air blower, or compressed air for best results.
2-Heating (for hot-applied sealants)
- Use a temperature-controlled heater (double-jacketed melting kettle).
- Heat the sealant to the specified application temperature (typically 160-190°C, depending on the product).
- Do not overheat, as this can degrade the polymer.

Storage of Polymer bitumen sealant
Store in a dry place protected against sunlight at a temperature between –20°C and +30°C. Guaranteed storage period — 12 months.
- Wide range of working temperatures
- High elasticity Absence of shrinkage
- Quick selection of properties Longevity of covering
Packing
- Cartons with plastic liners (15–25 kg blocks)
- 240 kg Metal drums
- 25KG pp bag in wooden box pallet
- 25 kg graft bag
