What is the difference between snow white and ultra white petroleum jelly?

The terms snow white and ultra white are often used interchangeably. Both refer to the highest-purity grade of petrolatum with a Lovibond color of 0.5Y or less. Some suppliers label their most refined version (Grade A, Lovibond 0.3Y or less) as ultra white to distinguish it from standard snow white. Always check the actual TDS and COA values rather than the marketing name.

Is snow white petroleum jelly safe for pharmaceuticals and baby care?

Yes. Snow white petroleum jelly is dermatologist-approved, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic. It meets USP, BP, and Ph. Eur pharmacopoeia requirements. The FDA classifies white petrolatum as a Category I OTC skin protectant. It is widely used in neonatal and pediatric skin care products.

What is the minimum order quantity for snow white petroleum jelly?

The standard MOQ is one full 20-foot container (FCL), approximately 19 MT in 175 kg steel drums. Pre-shipment samples of 1 to 5 kg are available via courier with a full COA and SDS for confirmed orders.

What export documents come with each shipment of snow white petroleum jelly?

Each shipment includes a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (Turkey or UAE), Certificate of Analysis (COA) per batch, Safety Data Sheet (SDS), and optionally a pre-shipment inspection report. LC and SWIFT T/T payment terms are supported.

Can you supply snow white petroleum jelly under a private label?

Yes. Snow white petroleum jelly can be supplied in plain drums or with your private label on the drum or packaging. Minimum quantities apply for private label orders.

What is the shelf life of snow white petroleum jelly?

When stored in sealed drums away from direct sunlight and heat, snow white petroleum jelly has a shelf life of 3 to 5 years. Its resistance to oxidation and hydrolysis makes it ideal as a base ingredient in long-shelf-life pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations.
